The Branson Scenic Railway is a heritage railroad with an interesting historical background. The Branson Scenic Railway operates trains for tourists in the scenic Ozark Mountains just between Branson north to Galena, Missouri. Each train would operate for approximately 40 miles for round trips. The railroad operates a variety of classic railroad equipment, including two vintage dome cars, a dining car, and other coaches built by the Budd Company. The railroad was originally built as the White River Railway between the years of 1902 and 1905. Because of the rugged terrain of the Ozarks, thus, a number of trestles and tunnels were made as a requirement in order to create a level railroad grade. The railroad has made it possible for tourists to travel, and it also helped to make Branson and the Ozarks one of the prominent tourist destinations as it is today. The Branson Scenic Railway tourist trains will normally leave the historic depot in downtown Branson

A night time theme park known as the Celebration City is also one of the very famous tourist attractions in Branson. The theme celebration city was given after America in the 20th century, with areas that were based on Route 66, Small-town America in the 1900s, and a beach boardwalk in the 1920s. It is the sister park to Herschend Family Entertainment's Silver Dollar City theme park which is also located not far from Celebration City. Celebration City opens it’s gate to tourists in the afternoon until night, with the day being wrapped up by laser and fireworks display. The park features a variety of thrill rides and shows. Celebration City's operating season usually runs from May until mid of September.
