Branson Landing

The Landing is the perfect place to start exploring Branson. This beautiful boardwalk is the perfect starting point for your Branson experience, with scenic views and and a great view of Lake Taneycomo.

Lakeside Wilderness Area and Lake Taneycomo

The Lakeside Wilderness Area is the perfect example of what you can do with a small wilderness near the confines of a city. Lakeside provides a perfect getaway location near the heart of downtown Branson. The major trail leads to Lake Taneycomo.

Lake Taneycomo is located near downtown Branson, Missouri, and this lake is a fisherman's dream. You can also enjoy picnicking with the family. Of course, you can go hiking, as well as enjoy watersports, such as boating and scuba diving, which do carry a fee.

Henning State Forest
 

The highlight of this 1,535-acre park is the lookout point, where you can enjoy the incredible views of the surrounding countryside. There is a naturalist employed by the park, if you should have questions about what you seen following a nature trail or during nature studies.

Moonshine Beach
 

Enjoy a beach vacation in Branson, on Moonshine Beach. You can relax in the sun, go swimming and enjoy the beautiful Missouri scenery.

Table Rock State Park, Table Rock Lake and Table Rock Lake Dam

Table Rock State Park, located off of Table Rock Lake is geared to water activities. Although you would have to pay a fee to use the Marina, rent a boat, or use a campsite, you can also hike and go picnicking.

At Table Rock Lake, you can go swimming, boating, water skiing or scuba diving. If you want to spend time on shore, you can go fishing, hiking or camping.

If you've never seen a working dam, then Table Rock State Dam is the place for you to see. Constructed to hold back the White River and to create Table Rock Lake, the dam is an engineering marvel.

Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery
 

Self-guided or conducted tours are available of one of Branson’s most popular tourist sites. The hatchery is located below Table Rock Dam. It has several beautiful aquariums showcasing the native fish of Missouri. Families love to explore the fish hatchery and as they learn more about the world around them.

Sunday Gospel for Christians
 

Branson celebrates it's Christian heritage. Some Branson theaters open their doors Sunday morning for free gospel singing. You will be able to enjoy hymns and singing praise to the Lord.

College of the Ozarks

This charming and picturesque campus has lovely landscaping, and walking paths where you can view spectacular fountains. You will also want to taste the great food at the Keeter Center Restaurant, after your free tour at Edwards Mill and the Ralph Foster Museum, which has this area’s best collection of Ozarks history. There is a nominal fee for museum admission.
